Half Marathon Finish

Running Accomplishments:

There isn't a lot to say about my running. I have been running off and on for 5 years and I want to get better and test my limits. I am pretty much starting from scratch.

Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to complete the Moab 1/2 Marathon in October and to be able to be comfortable running.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Maybe someday a whole marathon would be amazing! :)

Personal:

I am a student at Utah State University and I came home from an LDS mission in December 2007.  I think if I can do that, I can complete a 1/2 marathon.

I didn't run yesterday and I have been so tired this week since school started and I have been working 45 hours per week too. I ran this morning and it was kinda grueling but by the end I wanted to keep going but I didn't have enough time. I think tomorrow I will get up earlier to run farther. :)

4 miles is plenty. Do not go farther. Focus on not skipping days instead. If you've skipped a day, the train is gone. Do not try to make up the next day, just start over. Examine the list of Top Ten Training Mistakes (link at the top of this page), and make sure to not repeat them.

Camilla - it sounds like you need an "all about Camilla" day. I understand feeling overwhelmed like that. I graduated in 2006, so I still remember how exhausting it is to balance school, work, and homework. Keep going! I think the #1 thing I learned from school is that you can truly do *anything*.

Good job on the 4 miles!
