Half Marathon Finish

Running Accomplishments:

There isn't a lot to say about my running. I have been running off and on for 5 years and I want to get better and test my limits. I am pretty much starting from scratch.

Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to complete the Moab 1/2 Marathon in October and to be able to be comfortable running.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Maybe someday a whole marathon would be amazing! :)

Personal:

I am a student at Utah State University and I came home from an LDS mission in December 2007.  I think if I can do that, I can complete a 1/2 marathon.

Well today wasn't bad at all. I am getting used to running that distance every time. I didn't run over the weekend but I decided to run in the mornings now that school started so that I will get it done early and not have to worry about it! I did 4 miles and at a medium pace. 1 mile of a really hard hill and the rest flat.

You did 1.5 miles more than me... I noticed that you barely beat me last week for who had more miles... and you are already off to a better start. I better pick it up. (totally joking, of course!) Good job today! And good luck with school.

Thats a good attitude you have camilla. When I first started running my goal was to just not stop and when I found I could do that then I concentrated on getting faster each race. Its that attitude in marathons that helps you finish and I always think this in races that the person around me is going through the same thing and its not just me. Keep up the good work.
