Running Accomplishments:

There isn't a lot to say about my running. I have been running off and on for 5 years and I want to get better and test my limits. I am pretty much starting from scratch.

Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to complete the Moab 1/2 Marathon in October and to be able to be comfortable running.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Maybe someday a whole marathon would be amazing! :)

Personal:

I am a student at Utah State University and I came home from an LDS mission in December 2007.  I think if I can do that, I can complete a 1/2 marathon.

Rested. Sabbath Day, can't run.

This run started on a slight incline and I felt like I would have to walk, but by the end I felt good and like I could keep on going.

I walked in between a bit, and I felt like I needed to stop a lot, then I would stop and felt like I could run! I felt myself getting a little impatient, but I was proud by the end that I did it. Plus at the end I went to the top on a huge hill will stairs.  That felt good to be able to do at the end of a long run for me.

I did cross training today-elliptical machine for 35 mins and stair climber for 10.  I strength trained well and felt good. I also went dancing at night if that counts!

I played tennis for 1.5 hours today as a cross training exercise.  I am trying to just keep myself busy most days with doing something. Even if it isn't running. I signed up for a 5k race on September 6th and paid the fee so I can't get out of it. I am excited about it actually! I used to get scared and nervous!
